S.Pellegrino is supporting the chef community in these challenging times through a variety of activities under the #SupportRestaurants banner.
Having sponsored The World's 50 Best Restaurants for many years, S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna are proud to be the main partners of the 50 Best for Recovery project to help relaunch the restaurant sector.
As an additional initiative, the 'Bid for Recovery' Auction, opening on 3 July, will raise funds by giving food and travel enthusiasts the opportunity to bid for over 100 out-of-this-world gourmet and lifestyle experiences.
Among the lots S.Pellegrino is contributing to the auction is a unique invitation for two to the 2021 Grand Finale of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef competition. The successful bidder will enjoy VIP access to this prestigious international event for emerging talents in gastronomy, to be held on 7 to 8 May in Italy's dynamic fashion and design capital, Milan.
Over two days of intense competition where emotions run high and dreams are played out, the successful bidder will have the rare privilege of observing the best young chefs from around the globe as they put their talent to the test in the build-up to the spectacular live streamed Award Ceremony. At the same time, there will be plenty of opportunities to shake hands with the acclaimed senior chefs who mentor the contestants and the top international chefs on the Grand Jury itself.
The invitation is enriched by a series of memorable experiences, including the exclusive Grand Finale Gala Dinner, as well as a visit to San Pellegrino Terme and the magnificent elegance of its Art Nouveau casino, in a beautiful setting surrounded by the mountains from which S.Pellegrino mineral water emerges.
The 'Bid for Recovery' Auction will be conducted online at www.50BestForRecovery.com. Potential bidders can view the full selection of lots from 29 June, with the auction opening on 3 July and running until 12 July.
