The Grand Finale of S.Pellegrino Young Chef may have been postponed until 29-30 October, 2021, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but the 48 finalists will not be idle. Instead they will play a key role in a special project aimed at the readers of Fine Dining Lovers, the international gourmet magazine by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna.
S.Pellegrino Young Chef has engaged 48 young chefs from all over the world to create a special recipe collection for publication on Fine Dining Lovers, which is destined to become a cookery book that readers of the website can download.
The regional finalists competing for the title of S.Pellegrino Young Chef, along with the chefs who have won the other awards - the S.Pellegrino Award for Social Responsibility, Acqua Panna Award for Connection in Gastronomy and The Fine Dining Lovers Food for Thought Award - will provide a step-by-step explanation of their recipes, which will be illustrated with original photography. All the chefs may therefore express their passion and give shape and flavour to the philosophy they share with S.Pellegrino Young Chef: sustainability and innovation placed at the service of haute cuisine.
With this project, S.Pellegrino Young Chef strengthens its commitment to supporting young culinary talent, and lends a helping hand to the restaurant business which, more than ever before, needs to be supported in every possible way.
